Working in the arts has been a career-long journey that brought Nanette to Asheville, drawn by the allure of a vibrant creative community and the inspiring backdrop of nature. Through the years, her roles have unfolded, transitioning from an artist to a gallery owner and eventually delving into event management nurturing artists into the wholesale world of the American Handcrafted trade show. As a social media manager, she grew to oversee the marketing aspects of the event until its closure in 2023.

As the Design Marketing Chair for AIGA Asheville, she is excited to contribute to the growth and success of our creative community. She aims to champion the importance of design excellence and creative expression within AIGA Asheville, fostering a thriving environment for all.
