Alyssa Phillips, President of AIGA Asheville in 2023, is the owner of Amp’d Designs, helping passionate small businesses amplify their voices through branding and web design. She received a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She held several positions at design studios in NYC, including rolls at Atlantic Records and as an Art Director at a print company, before moving to the mountains to start her own business. She also helps self-employed designers build sustainable and fulfilling design businesses. Previously, Alyssa was the Founding Vice President of AIGA AVL.
