Join us for the second annual AIGA Asheville Design Weekend! We’re celebrating and uplifting WNC’s talent across all creative disciplines.
The event kicks off on Friday, November 3, with a kick-off social at Cowork at Center for Craft. On Saturday, November 4, we’ll enjoy an amazing lineup of presenters at Mojo Coworking including an awesome workshop hosted by Adobe along with concurrent talks, panels and workshops throughout the day. Sunday, November 5, concludes the event with a collaboration with PechaKucha presentations at Mojo Coworking, followed by a selection of tours to choose from including beautiful architectural & design spaces, and street art murals in Downtown Asheville.
2023 THEME: "The Power of Design"
Design has the power to shape the world. It solves problems, tells stories, and evokes emotions. Design is more than aesthetics. It’s a means to educate, to inspire, to communicate what we believe in. Design has the extraordinary ability to influence perceptions, challenge possibilities, and make a lasting impact on the future.

Tours - Wrap up Design Weekend with a selection of FREE tours. We have three to choose from. Each option is limited capacity, so registration is required. Choose between:
- Walking Tour of Basilica of Saint Lawrence (70 capacity) - Walk a few blocks from Mojo. Steep Hill.
- Walking Tour Citizen Vinyl (15 Capacity) - Walk from Mojo (Actual tour starts at 1:30) Slight Hill.
- Bus Mountain Mural Tours (12 Capacity) - Departing from Home Trust Bank Parling Lot Across from Mojo.
Please note that the mural bus tour is the most accessible friendly as the others do require walking including streets on hills. Please email us at communications@asheville.aiga.org if you want to reserve an advance seat on this tour for accessibility reasons." There is a very limited capacity of 12 for this Mountain Mural Tour.
