John Hornsby, Creative Director of Hornsby Creative and Co-founder of AIGA Asheville, is a seasoned expert in brand,  strategy and experience design. For over 25 years, he has  helped craft compelling branded experiences that inspire and captivate. His strategy-first approach equips organizational leaders to seize opportunities, drive growth, and resonate authentically with their target audiences.

In 2020 when everything went virtual, he and his wife Anila Launched, a “do it for you service” creating branded event toolkits to give event hosts an easy way to increase enrollment, fulfillment, and retention. They have collaborated on projects with clients ranging from small local businesses to big brands like Kimberly Clark, Cooper Hewitt, and the AIGA National Design Conference.  Now Peak Promo provides branded merchandise for conferences and promotions nationwide.

Outside the design studio, John can often be found exploring the trails of the majestic Great Smoky Mountains, with his family and canine companions.
