Sara Koubek, Secretary and Membership Director of AIGA Asheville, is a Senior UI Designer at LendingTree. She has spent a majority of her career there where she began as a print designer and made the shift to digital design. Sara is originally from Cleveland, Ohio where she got her BA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. Since then she has freelanced and volunteered her skill sets to collaborate with students, small businesses and corporations. Her love of design began in the form of crafting and fine art, which can be seen in her passion projects from branding, print, responsive and wayfinding design.
